I have also tried running as admin, and setting it to un in compatibility mode for Windows 8, and still have the same issue.

I have tried to rollback my display drivers as well as windows updates, and I am still having the same issue. I have not changed any in game settings, or the settings within OBS Studio. I have seen a few error messages stating that OBS has crashed that will randomly pop up on my desktop. Recently, I noticed that when using OBS Studio, it locks up the screen preview area, and then when I click "stop recording" it sits there and says "stopping recording" but it never stops. Over the past 3 months, I have had no issues.
I am using OBS Studio mainly to record Ark:Survival Evolved, and a few other games.
